i passed!

I took my driving test today... yeah, it was a really stressful morning. ={ Here is an account of what happened. In the circuit, everything was almost fine except for the directional change which i delayed going in as there was already a car inside. Supposed to move in so that I won't cause a jam behind but then I reacted damn slow till the tester prompted me. He was a little pissed and said that i should apply what my instructor taught me.  After moving out to the road, there was this part where i had to change lane to turn right. i looked at the rear view mirror then wanted to check blindspot, but i too jing zhang so turned the steering abit liao. Then suay suay got this car at my blindspot. I quickly returned to my lane and waited for it to pass... The instructor very angry and scolded me. Told me that it was very dangerous and if it was a motorcycle beside me i would have caused an accident already. Then he like wanted to fail me, could hear it in his voice. I was really sad liao, knew sure die. Then he ticked alot on my score sheet also (the more ticks the more marks. lesser marks better, 20points then fail). I noticed in my score sheet that he even accused me of being slow in restarting stalled engine when i didn't even stall the engine! Truly he wanted to fail me but didn't manage to accumulate enough points to fail me. All those that he ticked are those that still have chance one (won't get the points yet). Then he say.. ok lah, pass you. i was super delighted!! :P so happy it's over! Oh ya.. i got 14points in total.

bowling!!!

Today i went to daryl's bowling competition at raffles tc, cos he 'invited' me to be the photographer, help them take photos. And coincidentally, i wore a shirt with lots of stars and a necklace and hairpin with stars too. Overwhelmed with lots of lucky stars, daryl won the championship for men's individual! cool manz~ Actually there were alot of older men there, and they all bowled so well. My bowling skills totally cannot make it, marks fluctuate like nobody's business. Can range from 60 plus to... 133. yup that's my highest, and that was obtained a year ago, never got that score again after that. so lousy! =P

my 3days

Been 'away' for 3 days because I had my '3day thing' with my dear meiqing and melissa! They came over to stay over at my house and i simply had lots of fun catching up with them, shopping and touring sentosa (although i've been there alot of times this yr). As usual, we took alot of photos together, we love taking photos together. :P

Meiqing finally dyed her hair!! She always thought that dyeing will spoil the hair and never wanted to dye it, yet she changed her mind about it and DIY! And guess what? Me and melissa did it for her. At first i was really worried how it would turn out like because we had totally no experience of dyeing hair and she also had no experience of getting her hair dyed. But in the end, it turns out to be fine, or i should say, it looks quite professional. haha! so happy and i kept staring at my beautiful work everyday while i was with her. The red simply suited meiqing well. =) yeah...

drowsy and blur

today i went to nus for the engineering talk. I was so blur today, plus i kept falling asleep during the talk, most probably because i took the cough medicine... While I was on my way there, (took a train) listening to linkin park at a vol of 15 on my discman to entertain myself and hopefully wake me up abit... in the end, i knocked out during the train ride! Cannot believe also. Anyway tmr i'll be going back to take qet, really hope that i can pass, then can have more time to do other things, don't have to stay back for extra lessons. Just hope that it'll be easy to pass...

I finally got permission legally from my parents to stay over nite at fren's house! after 19 years of sleeping at home (except for camps/holidays). hehe... finally feel a alittle freedom allowed in this house. so happy... only people who suffered disappointment many many times because cannot stay over at friend's house will understand how happy i m! :)

my name...

Today at my grannie's house, one of my uncles came over and he has a new baby! Cannot believe that i haven't seen him for so long, suddenly got a new baby in the family. She is so cute, and her name is Renee. It's pronounced as "re-ney". I think it's a sweet name and rather uncommon... so unlike my name, so many people also got the same name as me, or should i say, same name and sirname as well. i once had a neighbour who is called yvonne tan as well.
 
Talking about my name, there are 2 english versions of my chinese name. my chinese name is actually huai(2) lin(2). And unfortunately, the word huai cannot be found in the dictionary at all. papergoat's (daryl) version of it was 'forest why orange' (chen is orange, huai sounds like why, and lin is forest). damn creative hor daryl =P... and liang qiao's version of it is 'river jade'. the word huai is actually a name of a chinese river in china (cheem?). and lin means jade. ;P nice rite? hehehe. Maybe u pple can start creating ur own english version of ur chinese names! If cannot think of any then can find daryl to help liao. haha.

the blur me...

I'm so blur!!! And i had to forfeit $58.80 for my blurness.. sobsob. I thought that my driving lesson starts at 6pm, and happily woke up at 10plus, went for a swim and went bowling and then... i went to bbdc, scan my book and the screen showed "No bookings. Please check booking statement". I was stunned, thinking that the stupid pc made a mistake. Then after that i realised that my lesson was actually at 9.50 this morning... I've missed it and I was still sleeping soundly and happily at that time. Still can't believe that my brains are not functioning very well, why do i have such a forgetful brain...

a day at sentosa...

Had lots of fun at sentosa today with my cac camp group people. Although it was an outing for all the people from the camp, our group was the most 'siao-on' cause many of us came! See, this is what is most important, that we are still so enthu after the camp... hehe.

We played volleyball, captain's ball, football (me and meiqing were the untouchables in the game =p)... all kinds of ball games in the sand and sea. Well, so xia suay lor, cause i really very long never touch volleyball. Still remembered the last time i played it in vj, i was very stressed and kept on practising before we played against other classes. Guess i'm just lousy at it lah. Got two chances to serve the ball but couldn't even get it over the net, xia suay in front of so many pple! =( But anyway, i enjoyed the swimming part most. We got to sit on the big floating thing which looked like a big piece of cheese to me. Luckily for us, it only drizzled a while then after that the sun gave all of us nice tans.

Now im all burnt on the face, guess it will start peeling soon, though i wish it won't.

finally!

Finally i decided to start a blog to keep friends updated about myself. Thanks to melissa, she was the one who gave me the idea... =)

School's starting soon, i'm excited and at the same time sad.. cause this long holiday will be gone forever. And i really quite scared that my brains have 'rotted' during the hols as well. I want to get my brains to start thinking again, but i know once it starts i will be very sianz. Will be entering NUS, ISE course... for pple who don't know what's that, can ask me! hehe. hmm, went to a camp organised by CAC, and knew quite a few people from there, so feel better and not so much a stranger in that new environment.
