Has been a week since i came back. Really feels great to be home. :):):)
finland kakis.. let's bbq today! :P

UK, London

We started off really badly. Daryl's luggage went missing after our flight from Finland to London. We intended to leave our luggages with tingjun and we were due to leave London the next day, even if the luggage arrive tomorrow, it would not be in time. In the end we couldnt get it in time and had to leave without all our neccessities. Luckily though, it was found and sent to tingjun later on.

Didn't really had the time and mood to tour London.

Famous red buses.

On the london bridge. No.. its not falling down!

Surprisingly the famous bridge in London is not the London bridge but this. Tower bridge.

The London Eye

Big Ben.
London's tube is veryvery busy. The lines are really complicated and the staff have to update the status of the lines every hourly or half hrly at every station. When the tube is down, its really troublesome.

After a bu san bu si day in London, we headed off for the airport. And from here on, our hearts raced like crazy. OMG. I will never forget this "amazing race". We went to the nearest station where we can catch a bus to the airport. But we realised that from there the bus takes nearly 2 hrs to get to the airport!! And we just missed one (luckily, if not we sure late still). So we flagged a taxi, and the driver told us it's too expensive! 80pounds = abt 270sing! And so he told us he can fetch us to Victoria station to take a train to the airport. The taxi journey took quite long as the roads were busy and we realised that we could have saved the time and money by taking the tube (we alr have the day pass to the tube). When we reached, we ran to catch the nex train to the airport, took 40mins. No, it was not yet a relief, cause when we reached the station, we had to take a stupid 5-10 mins shuttle bus! Ok and so we reached the airport and to our greatest horror, the airport is so disgusting - the check in queues are sooooooooooooo long (that i think it could take 1.5 hrs to queue!!!) After queuing for awhile, we realised we cannot make it as it was 20mins b4 check in closes. We tried an express queue meant for a different flight, which we werent supposed to queue. Luckily the person allowed us to check in. Daryl went "yay, let's open champagne and celebrate". No.. its not over. The checking of baggage queue is even longer than ever. So we tried to ask the person in front of us to allow us to jump the queue, and then the next in front and the next in front etc. After awhile, we decided to just run to the front, crawl under the table and jump everyone's queue. Finally when we got in, our stupid plane was delayed.

Luton airport. sigh.

Finally hOme!

Home sweet home.. yeahss. It is good to return. To the warm and moist air and the variety of yummy singaporean food. And of course family n friends. It felt really warm when I first stepped out of Changi, but now I am enjoying the wen nuan feeling singapore air gives me. :)

Will be posting on the different places that we went to before heading home. Enjoy the photos!!

Finland, Turku

It's finally holidays! Finished my last exam yesterday. yAY!
Daryl and I toured Turku together today! Turku started off with a 1.50euros box of strawberries at the market square!! It is halved the price that we can buy in Helsinki. The market sq only sells fruits and flowers... :)
