Just came back from a cooking session with Finns and other international students... It was quite fun because we get to make our dinner together. At first when I signed up for it, i thought it would be a session where we would sit and watch them cook and teach us. And i was very happy and surprised to see Hitomi there too! (our jap friend:))

And i miss Auntie Annes pretzels.... so i did this. haha...

the shrove buns when they are done! Its really nice because it tasted really soft... I miss the bread that we have in singapore. The normal bread here acutally feels alittle hard!

For today's dinner, we had Creamy Salmon Soup, Shrove buns ("pulla" in finnish), Hard Boiled Eggs n Butter mixture and Curd Cheese with Berries. I loved the pulla most and the salmon soup tasted great as well... overall, the dinner was special and good!
I was mixing the curd cheese with strawberries
I knead some of them... really fun. And then we sprinkle sugar on top of a thin layer of butter
