Easter Hols Part 1 - Stockholm, Sweden

2, 3 Apr 2007

On board Mariella, the viking ship. We are taking the viking line for the last time...
The viking ship took us to Sweden, for just 10 euros each. We loved the cabins, and we slept from 9pm till 9am the next morning in our cosy and soft beds. I will always miss Viking.

swinging like a monkey!!

saying bye to Finland for 2 weeks

Our 2nd time inStockholm, so we took quite little photos here. The reason why we came to Sweden again was that we didn't visit the famous Vasa museum the other time. And Sweden has budget airplanes which we can take out to other countries. Finland has limited budget airlines unfortunately.

After shopping for souvenirs and eating lunch, we went to catch the bus to the airport. Funnily, the bus left 15 mins before the scheduled time it was supposed to leave. Stunned.

We took Ryan Air to Brussels. When we arrived safely, everyone clapped. First time I experienced this...

It was quite late when we reached Brussels, and we had a hard time searching for the hostel that we booked. In the end we got to the hostel by asking a few people. But it wasn't that easy cause we met with a weird guy who approached us although we didnt ask him aything and he anyhow pointed some direction and wanted us to follow... of course we ignored him. Thank god we arrived in the end. I remembered we drank hot milo and ate salmon that we brought from Finland for supper. The shower at the hostel didn't have really warm water to bathe with. After a tiring day walking with my heavy backpack, I didn't really sleep well for the night.
